I’ve been trying to set up my brand new sicce 5.0 externally, but it just isn’t drawing water in. Does anyone use these pumps externally or have tips on how to prime them?

They have to be below the water line. They are not self priming. I guess I should say you need a bulkhead on the side of your sump.

Thank you!!! I got it to work. I wish sicce had better instructions/resources on setup on youtube or something.

Renewing this thread. I’m currently building a water mixing/water change station with a Syncra 2.0.

How has your Syncra performed externally? Mostly wondering about water sealing and if you’ve experienced any leakage from the pump or bulkhead connection.
