hey

I got one of these today. It isn't doing too hot. Everything else I got is perfect. Anyone have any experience with these? It's on the bottom of the tank since I think it's a deepwater acro

Although acclimating to your lights are a good idea, just wanted to share my experience. I ran halides for a couple of years, and now run Radions. Currently my Radions are at 85%. How this applies to you, my RD is growing out of the tank. The base is maybe 6" under the surface. Mine LOVES being blasted with light. It grows an inch a month easily. Last time I "fragged" it, I took off (2) 14" branches. I would suggest higher in the tank with ample flow.

I have had mixed success with shipped red dragons--definitely acclimate slower than most other acros. I'd put in in lower light with some flow to acclimate. Once acclimated I have mine both in shade (150 par) and up high (>400 par) with a lot of flow and it grows faster than I can get rid of it. grows faster with more light/flow for me as well I have led/t5 lighting
