How will it grow or spread ??

Hi,

I've had that coral for about 6 months and it hasn't grow, changed of split. I upgraded my lights to Prime HD about 3 weeks ago. Any tip or suggestion on how to help it split or grow or spread ?

Blasto's are generally slow growers. You'll eventually see new heads start forming. Maybe spot feed them occasionally.

One prime isn't enough for that size tank. I feed my blastos which helps a lot . Polyps are much bigger and have a baby on the side

My blasto hasn't split or grown any new heads and I have had it 6 months. It is very healthy looking and puffy though. Be patient, they are very slow growers :)

That explains the glow on the right side lol!! Seems like the blasto doesn't get enough light in your tank. If I see it correctly

Nice setup! I believe you're still on the low side in respects to lighting. Blasto's do rely heavily on zooxanthellae which requires strong light to flourish. Feeding them does help with growth rates but they are slow growers. It's taken me up to 8 mths to see my first new polyps. As long as it's inflated and has good color it should start growing after it's acclimated. Hang in there;)

everywhere I look it says it need moderate lightning. Should I put the higher in the thank ? The get pretty swollen when lights are full on ! I start the day with 10k, to 14k then to 20k. I finish the day with full on deep blue and some red.
