Oh my tank was 1000% algae for a couple months, i just let it run its course and its almost gone. I did only manual removal of very large chunks of sea lettuce

I think the microorganism food chain built up and its dealing with it for me. I have a ton of different ones, this red one that popped up is my favorite, and some of the turf alfaes are cool looking with pods everywhere on it, but its almost disappeared this month.

I also have trouble with duncans.
Yeah I think i made the post confusing, i was more so asking is my opion that its thriving accurate. I tried finding photos of the heads extending this much online but I don't see any. So i didn't know if it was a strange behavior, or if it's doing phenomenally well

Duncan are one of my favorites. Mine likes the top of my tank with moderate flow. Every time I do a water change it's out of water for a little bit. It's about the size of a softball now and has about 15 heads.

That’s a good looking Duncan! Here’s a quick video of mine and their placement. The green one has 6 new heads growing underneath the one polyp. I’ve only had it two months. They seem to like it on the outer edges of my tank. Lighting is an a360x at 35%
