So, My Calc was really low in my DT, so I picked up some All For Reef and a Kamoer Dosing pump from BRS and 2 days later my corals are doing GREAT.... my new Zoanthids and Favia, anyway. My originals are getting better, but still haven't reopened. I have added CUC, and 2 Blue Damsels to the DT and they are doing great. I'll add my clown fish to the DT this weekend.

IMO Halloween Hermit Crabs look the coolest out of all the crabs I've seen.

My poor Xenia got knocked off the rock by some snails, doesn't look like it's going to make it.

Very nice! What size is your Emperor? And I happened to buy a Diamond Goby myself recently— he makes pretty high sand piles!
The Emperor is about 3-4".

The Goby dug a tunnel under his big cave on the far left of the tank and pushed the sand in front and through the openening on the left over the rocks to smooth it out. Lol 20211008_194841.jpg

Is there a way to find out if the Emperor is male or female?

Speaking of which, I had thought my lights were turned up too high, (3) Vipar Spectra at 40%blue, 15% white.... turns out, I was WAYYYYY too low. Averaging 20PAR along the sand bed, maxing out at 50 PAR at the top of my rocks, so I cranked it up to 85% blue on all 3 and 40/50/60% white. Averaging 50 par on the sand bed with only blues, maxing out at 150 at the top of the rocks. With full spectrum, averagwe 100 on the sand bed, and 250 at the top of the rocks... I'm thinking I'm gonna need better lighting....

Quick Update... I bought (3) Reef LED90's and installed them on Black Friday. The difference is AMAZING.

I also picked up a Yellow Tang and Mandarin for my tank while I was in there. :D

Big update:

The ReefLED 90's have brought my trank to life and my corals are all doing a LOT freaking better now. Plus, I like the ability to program them, etc.

I think I finally broke my QT's curse as 4 molly's survived 4 weeks in the QT and have been added to the DT. I did a 50% water change, added copper safe, API General Cure and Marin Oxy with my second chance at a Coral Beauty Angel.

Side note, I've added more corals to the DT, including a RBTA and a couple of hammers. I have a couple of Rock Anemone's coming in at the end of the month. 20211204_183041.jpg 20211217_101444.jpg 20211217_101937.jpg 20211217_101432.jpg
