Three mouths full of mysid... pretty much am feeding this guy every day!

Sweet how's the growth on it

Purchased it on August 13 with one mouth and it was roughly 1/3 of its present size. With two additional mouths that have developed in the last roughly two months it is beginning to grow more quickly . I have it mounted on a 1.5" frag disk.

Wow wish mine would grow like that

Honestly, I think you can. All of my chalices grow relatively quickly, you just have to feed them. At this time I have several small new chalices in the tank like the crush and I feed them nearly ever day.

What lighting do you have it under
Radion G3P at 93% peak

how do you feed the mysis, with hand or squirt with turkey baster?

Thanks

When I have a chalice this small I will carefully place a smaller fragment of Mysis on each mouth using a long pair of tweezers with flow off so that the chalice can grab ahold of it. My larger chalices I still use tweezers, but liberally toss a number of Mysis on... again with flow eliminated. Hope that helps!
