So I eliminated the green spectrum from my AI primes recently. My T5s are set at 24% on the true Actinics and 5% on the blues plus. They are strictly supplemental lighting. They run for 8 hours starting just before my peak high noon period on the Primes. My goal was fill and a peak in the UV and violet part of the spectrum. Color and growth has been good. After looking at the spectral charts of both T5 bulbs, and the reef lit by just the T5's, I realized the greens from my primes were unnecessary. The only part of the spectrum underrepresented was red. I adjusted accordingly and the blend and visual appearance throughout my light cycle is better.
Just T5's yuk
