Hybrid T5/LED Canopy Plans

Spill over and ballast placement was my major concern. Mine is 6" wide so t5 is 3" inside canopy with no real light spill but put ballast on backside and caused an imbalance to had to use hardwood upfront to level
 
I went the super slim route on my Hybrid T5/Hydra 26's. Used a router to v-groove and form Alumabond with aluminium end caps. Not as classy as wood but nice and sleek.

What type of hanging kit do you use to hang the floating canopy from the ceiling
 
figured he didnt have a ruler and wanted the light a foot and a half above the water
