I have three assessors. Two yellows (A and B) and a Randall’s (C).
A&B = everything is fine
B&C = everything is fine
A&C = C is aggressive towards A
So this leads me to believe that both A and C are male, and B is a female. I’ve wanted to dip my toes in breeding, so I’m considering moving B and either A or C to a 29g to see if I can get some offspring. I can’t really find much on the hobby’s stance on hybrid saltwater fish. However, I don’t know if that’s because it really hasn’t been explored or if it’s taboo.

Anyone have a perspective on intentional hybridization that they’d like to share?

This would be acceptable IF the offspring would end up looking like this.

Bumblebee gobies are an amazing fish IMO. But that's not why we are here. Hybrids are in the hobby, they are just few and far between and expensive. A lot of these Hybrids are tangs. From the Black, Koi, and even Hybrid Blue tangs.

Theres often hyrbid CB majestic c blueface angels on DD and CB goldflake x flagfins too, hybrid dottybacks are common too. I dont think theres anything wrong with it so long as the juveniles you raise and i assume you will sell, the buyer knows what theyre getting.

IF YOU HAD TO OPERATE EVERYTHING ELSE MANUALLY, WHICH AUTOMATED SYSTEM WOULD YOU KEEP?
