Hydnophora... How much space?

I see stuff all over about how aggressive this coral can be, but no reference to length of sweeper tentacle length.
Does it release filaments into the water column? I have some nice isolated places in my scape, but they are both near powerhead inlets.

I never saw any sweepers just a sudden full out attack. I have a pic somewhere but can’t find it at the moment.

I never saw sweepers come out on mine. It did grow crazy fast though!

This corals doesn't produce long sweeper tentacles but when it senses another coral nearby (IME within 1-1.5") it will exude its mesenterial filaments with powerful digestive enzymes and kills back a large portion of the neighboring coral. I've yet to witness another species of coral that will win a battle with hydonphora.
