So I've got an opportunity to get 2 hydor 3rd generation 1950 gph powerheads for $50 each. I already have an ego 850 and an aqueon 950 (itching to replace the aqueon but love the evo) going to replace both instead of just one, sell the aqueon and keep the evo for emergencies. I've also got each of the 3 koralia nanos but they're behind the rocks blowing around them and then banking off the glass to keep my sand clean. My concern is that the 2 3gs would be too much flow. They're rated for I believe 55-125 gallons but idk of that means for just 1. I'd also be using them with the widest angle flow director so maybe that will prevent any issues? They'd be going on the same places as the 2 big powerheads you can see in the pick and then I'll move them around until I figure out what position works best.
