I have decided to not go with cheap lighting for my newest project which is my 24 x 24x 24 60g cube reef tank. For lighting I was thinking doing the hydra 26 hd for softies, Lps and low light sps. Would this light be good enough without t5 supplementation or anything.

I would think so, yes.

The Reefer 350 (48") comes with two Hydra 26's in the deluxe package and BRS have just done a video on their new lights which is only one puck and they say that that is enough for a 60 gallon cube.

Do you have other recommendations for lights? The 26 sounds pretty good!

Just my .02, I love the 26. Totally worth the money for what you get with the light. Kessils are more $ and less controllability out of the box.

I love my 26's. I have two of them on my Reefer 250.
The only downside is that they have that much controllability that it is too easy to want to tinker with the setting. Which I have been guilty of.
Best to pick a schedule and stick with it.
