Hi all,

I have a 30x30x24 sps dominate tank currently running two sol blues.

I'm planning to upgrade the sols to hydra 52's, and wasn't sure if I'd need two modules or if I could get by with just one?

Anybody out there with hydra 52's that can give me some advice?

Thanks in advance!

Pretty sure they cover a 2 ft square. My friend had a 52 and a radion on a 150 and the middle was dark.

to clarify ... this is on a tank that is 36" in length x 15" D x 15" H. I just purchased a AI hydra 26 to add to the 40g.

Thanks for the input. I ordered one upgrade. Going to try running a hydra 52 and a sol blue. If it doesn't work out, I'll upgrade the other sol. I've heard some people say the hydra doesn't have enough blue? I guess that's all personal preference
