I’d love the file for this please!!!Designed it, too big for my printer to print as a whole though so had to split it in two. Thin walls limit it to biscuit connectors but still a bit weak. Tried some pins but thin walls shot that down. Ended up just taking a little strip of old print, adding superglue. You have to slide it over one side of the light and move it around to position it to drop down as a snug fit. Will amend it tomorrow to take out the cut connections I tried and do a smooth cut and glue again. After that I will post the files for a whole print, split print, and the main design out of Fusion360 in case anyone wants to amend it to hold a diffuser plate for a reef set up. All in just under 5 hours to print, material cost of $3.35 to print each shade.
I opted to put it up on Maker World and I am just waiting on their approval of the upload and then I will post a link for you.I’d love the file for this please!!!
Do you find the shade reduces spread? My tank is right at the limit for spread and don’t want it to alter that footprint of usable lighthttps://makerworld.com/en/models/1671677-ai-hydra-edge-44-shade
hit the download files and the options will all pop up. Hope it prints well for you.
