No response so I downloaded a CAD app and designed one. Too long for my little printer. Have it designed as a whole piece and sliced in half to glue back together. Will print the halves tomorrow and assemble it for fit. If it works I can post files and someone with more than a 20 minute tutorial worth of training can clean it up and figure out a seam connector.

Designed it, too big for my printer to print as a whole though so had to split it in two. Thin walls limit it to biscuit connectors but still a bit weak. Tried some pins but thin walls shot that down. Ended up just taking a little strip of old print, adding superglue. You have to slide it over one side of the light and move it around to position it to drop down as a snug fit. Will amend it tomorrow to take out the cut connections I tried and do a smooth cut and glue again. After that I will post the files for a whole print, split print, and the main design out of Fusion360 in case anyone wants to amend it to hold a diffuser plate for a reef set up. All in just under 5 hours to print, material cost of $3.35 to print each shade.

I have an STL for the project if anyone wants to try and edit. Also I have a print file for the unit as a whole and one for it being split in half and orientated for fastest print with least waste. If your printer is small like mine, you will have to reattach the two sides post print in what ever method works best for you. The 1.5mm sides just are not enough space for most connectors to fit and work well. The estimator on my slicer was wrong so for my PLA+ filament on sale, my actual cost to print a single shade was $2.12. For those printing, it is tight fit to try and not have too much light coming out from the top where it sits. You basically have it vertical and one side goes on the light and you move it up the light to the light arm to get the other side on, at that point you just rotate more and you can drop it right down.
