Hello friends,

I was hoping to get some opinions on what is at risk with dosing hydrogen peroxide to treat algae and bacterial problems.

I'm talking reasonable dosages 3% solution ml/10 gallon type of thing, not the nuclear option.

I would think the primary concerns would be the beneficial bacteria, coral, and invertebrates. Am I on the right track?

Thanks,
JAC

Thanks friend, so there is a suggestion in that thread that it won't noticeably effect the beneficial bacteria.

I didn't notice much else in regards to what it may or may not harm.

All be it very interesting as to the lack of results on GHA. Thanks for the info.

I've thought about going this route for my ulva infestation. But can't bring myself to kill my shrimp. Be a different story if I had a smaller tank and could catch them. But not going to happen in 8 feet of tank.
