Hello all! I want to confirm two separate hitchhikers I just noticed in my tank.

#1 on *LEFT* Side: I think these are branching hydroids?

#2 on *RIGHT* Side: Some sort of hair algae or potentially beginning growth stage of Bryopsis? Some patches of the algae grow in a plume/feather-like way.

Any input would be great!! My tank has been running for two months and one month ago I added live rock to seed the system. I am fully prepared for hitchhikers, I actually find them really interesting!

Where did live rock come from? What is your game plan for stocking tank?

If biodiversity is your game plan, consider diver collected live rock:

I actually used gulf live rock. I think it is great

Interesting, I collected a bunch of OGO macro from the gulf and brought it home and put it in a tank. This started growing. I thought it was another type of macro but Google ID says it a hydro!?
