Hello,
I think next to lots of gha there are also hydroids growing on my liverock. Should I take out the rock and try to scrub them off? They seem to be spreading quite fast.
Thanks!

I've never seen that exact kind before but they do look like colonial hydroids to me. Scrubbing the rock with some hydrogen peroxide sounds like a good idea.

I had them in my old tank early on. Stop all coral feeding, it just feeds them too. I tried various crabs that people said would eat them with no noticeable help. Ultimately what got rid of them was no coral feedings along with weekly coral snow to clean the water and a tuxedo urchin. While he didn’t actively hunt them, if they were on the rocks where he was eating, when he moved away from that spot, they were gone.

Coincidentally I put a Echinometra Mathai into my tank because of gha and I also feel like the urchin ate my hydroids.
