Hello! Hoping someone can help me understand how to setup my hydros doser settings so the doser is disabled/turnedOFF if the water level sensor gets wet. I had to go into my doser “output settings > rated pump speed (set to 43.0ml/min since it’s a simple doser) > used in schedule > dynamic dosing (ON) sub section” to even see an option to use an input (water level sensor).

What’s the difference between input low point vs. high point vs. invalid/stale? All other input options present the same three settings.

Is “input invalid/stale” when the water level sensor would be wet?

Should I set both input “low point” AND “high point” to the same total dose to keep doser active? It’s a simple water level sensor (not the newer triple level water sensor).

Any help would be very appreciated as I would like to avoid the risk of a doser malfunction dumping Kalkwasser into my my little tank :-s

That input is for things like alkalinity, pH and not a water level sensor. That looks like a schedule you are setting up. There should be a depends on setting on that. Do you have another output that is dependent on the water level sensor? if not then create one that is on if the sensor is dry. You do not need to assign a output device. You can leave that set to none. The set the depends on in that schedule to that output and set the dependency mode to off if off. Then the schedule will not start if the created output is off. If it is running it will complete the one already started but will not start another if it is off. Hope that helps.

Wow thank you! Yes I had my ATO using the water level sensor as a failsafe. I found the dependency option thank you!
