What it would take to turn a common underground swimming pool into a reef? I was doing some pool maintenance today and the idea hit me...whether be a good one or bad one...I could have my own backyard reef to go snorkeling.
I'm sure there's plenty of things that I haven't thought about, but let's say a man had the notion to do something crazy like this. What would one need to do?

I myself have thought of the same thing. Are you thinking inside or outside? Outside adds so many more issues....I.E. rain, temp, and contamination just to name a few. However, everyone would want to be your reefing buddy.

Now an indoor pool, I believe we could make it work.....If money was not an issue, and yes I would be swimming in it.

there is a guy on youtube that turned a above ground swimming pool into a shark tank...pretty awesome
