Here is an ugly sick coral.
I've been too busy to post asking for humble help . I am a total idiot currently at this phase and don't mind being told that repeatedly.

I am getting better. and there have been salinity swings, temp swings, light swings, mood swings, you name it. I'm learning. This is science. There will be a few broken beakers.
Anyway here are bad pictures just after lights off.
It's gotten worse and worse.

I will post parameters when I get home from work tonight or when I can.

Salinity is 35ppm with instant ocean.

Any ideas off the top of your heads?
I got this stuff from a tank tear down a week ago. Lots of gsp covered rocks, 2 Duncans and a zoa. The zoa seems ok for some reason.

Sorry I'm in a rush on mobile, at work. This probably reads like word salad.

I’m also regularly doing something that gets me functioning like an “Idiot “ but breaking beakers can be reduced by purchasing plastic lab equipment.

The fading LPS might be suffering from coral warfare or other environmental chemicals. An absorption medium like Chemipure or Polyfilter may help?

The tank looks fairly new so coral issues are not uncommon until the tank hits its stride and develops the secret sauce that usually comes with age. Relax and try and enjoy the process.

I'm not going to give up, over react, or best myself up. I might go fowlr for a bit to dial in my parameters (looking at you N!) . I think I need to care for the fish over the coral? I feel really bad for the coral but I feel worse for the fish? It's like a bad choice. But I realize that's what I got with a secondhand system. I won't blame myself for other people's mistakes or get upset when I can't fix them .

First things first. What is your alk, nitrates, and phosphates at? What’s the age of the tank and how much light is it getting? Have the parameters been stable?

Stop with the self deprecation, every pro has killed tons of coral it’s part of learning.

I would mister your best to get everything in a line and reduce those swings as much as possible make things automated. That way you have less strain to keep everything maintained start off with a ato.
