U probably need more than just 2 snails and ideally a variety to address different parts of the tank. Perhaps some nassarius snails to stir up the sand bed and eat waste and left over food.2 Mexican snails

2 snails is insufficient for a 30 gallon imo. I would look into buying a more diverse cuc that will clean your sand and rocks2 Mexican snails
Okay thanks I will get more established live rock and I don’t think it’s too much lightyes more clean up crew, established live rock will help, are you running too much light??
This is part or most of your issue if sunlight is hitting your tank or is bright. I have a skylight, I have to put an umbrella over the waterbox for a few hours a day or algae. Sun will always produce algae.Yes a window is near my tank
Okay sick should I just order them online from himyou can buy a rlly good cuc on reefcleaners, john will hook you up. My rocks were covered in algae, a week later i was finally seeing more coralline and rocks were stripped. if you buy a cuc package it ships free from him.
Hi Jack! I have a much newer 29 gal SW tank with no coral and I have had algae that looks like yours. I don't have much live rock yet either. My solution has been to crank down the lighting. Lots of people to help you here and I am not an expert by any means. Keep calm and reef on. At least you are not fighting Ich like I am right now.Okay so my tank is 29 gallons and I just don’t know what to do but I like the advice you are all giving me.
