Hi! So I currently have a 29 gal FOWLR running with a Eheim canister filter (separate build thread) and am a newbie as of this year. I have the following fish - 2 clownfish, 1 royal gramma and 1 yellow tail damsel. My new Seapora rimless, low iron tank arrived and measures 36x18x18, cost $230. I am pleased with the quality of it. I am having a stand custom built.

Modular Marine 1200 gph overflow (cost $150 with shipping) bean animal arrived. The blue piece is the template and protective covering is still on. I got the three fourth inch drains. Return pump will use three fourth inch PVC also.

Design for cabinet done in Excel below.
Wood will be nonstain poplar to be painted white. Front doors will have hinges. Side doors to be flat with magnets.
Trim pieces are laid out in order of front of cabinet. The top piece is crown molding with an additional small piece of trim. Cost for trim is $42 from Cox Interior, fluted molding on left from Lowes for $15.

How did it turn out?
The carpenter hasn't started yet. :( He is building things for a craft show. I will post as it progresses. I am planning on something close to this but not doing the top.

My carpenter is really going all out to make a super strong stand!
All wood knots were filled with this glue and the skeleton is below. Note the extra support which the tanks will sit on. We also used Kiln dried wood from Lowe's. Screws were used instead of nails which is critically important.
