I cant get the noopsyche app to connect

I've read that the wifi rarely works, so im trying to get it to connect via AP. This is how far i get before hitting a dead end.

You need to set your phone to the right connection. Open phone settings, choose however you select your wifi and select the k7pro*** channel. Then open the app and your good to go.

i hit that and it times out trying to connct
