I printed an put together a reef pi. All 16 outlets are working. I am stuck I am not sure how to wire a two wire float switch as a input to shut the return pump off incase of an overflow? My set up now is a polarized switch to on a 12v DC relays that is connected to a float switch so if the water in the display over fills it shuts off and I have to manually turn it back on.i would like to remove the old system and do The same with reef pi if possible?

I read in one post for a two wire float switch is ground and a gpio pin but I am not sure if that's all that's needed. If you find something else let me know please. I don't want to do it yet incase that's wrong. Thanks

I found this a few weeks ago and wired the relay's to the recommended gpios if you're having a problem with the relay wiring this worked great for mine. Just having a issue with the float switch wiring now.

Oops , I’m sorry I missed this. Let us know if you need any further help. All of this should be possible. Including email /sms notification and auto disable when things go south .
