ok so I got a birds nest in really bad shape, I out it low but it looks dead, the weird thing is that when my lights go out and the room light hits the coral i can see hues of pink and green. is it making a come back ??

from a fish store, got it dirt cheap . my tank lights just went off, my living room lights are still on and looking at it i see hues of pink and green

what happened to your birdsnest?? Curious as I had a bad shipper as well, but when the lights go out i see what could be color.

Attached is a pic of the lil guy. He is compliantly white, but I noticed at night while feeding and spying on the tank with my UV light that the very tip was purple like it wants to live. I took a pic with my micro lense and if you look really really closely that item on the tip (i think) is a polyp maybe. Am i just wishful thinking??

I'd just keep doing what your doing. I've had corals bounce back from impending doom before.

Here is a pic at night. This is taken in a dark tank with a UV light shined on the frag. The purple is the original color at night and it looks like it is also present on the lower nub as well. Thoughts??? I plan on continuing the same routine of feeding the coral every other day so they eat again tomorrow.
