Hi everyone! This is my first post to R2R but I'm a long term reader.

I recently took the plunge to start my own reef tank and have been setting up a 75 gal reef tank.

Being a younger military guy, I tried to save some money and bought my lights off of facebook.
I have 2 AI Hydras (1st gen) and an AI Director. I watched the previous owner control the lights through the app on his phone to ensure they worked and things were great! Then I got home and realized there is no serial number sticker on the bottom of the director.

Does anyone have any information on how to possibly connect the Director in a different way or a possible other way to control them? I cant get the director or lights to show up in my wifi networks although it powers up and the lights all seem correct. Am I having a dumb moment with my router or did I totally bite the bullet on this one?

Any help or info at all would be greatly appreciated!

First, welcome to R2R.

If I were you, I'd try contacting the person you bought it from? Or how about an email to the manufacturer? And trust me, I've been in your position of needing tech help more than a few times.

Good luck.
