Just gunna brag a bit here! I got engaged on Friday to my beautiful girlfriend at the top turret of the Hotel Del Coronado in San Diego where we had our first date. I couldn’t be happier or more excited for the future

She doesn’t understand everything about it but has come to terms with the fact that the fish and I are a package deal and likes watching the corals grow. She got me some Pulsing Xenia a couple months ago that she named Panelope. I made an island for them and they’re taking off!

When we had a chance to visit San Diego a friend absolutely insisted that we go to the Hotel Del.
Very glad he did.
The structure is amazing, the history is amazing, and San Diego was absolutely beautiful.

Trying to picture it as the 1st place on the West Coast with electric lights, the people that stayed there, and wood floors in camping tents was pretty cool.

The concept of the old school Thought Salon was always fascinating.
