Hello folks,
this is a wild idea that popped into my head so no fear when it comes to being laughed at. lol.
I am building a 75 gal. and had a wild hair up my but idea that i need shot down.
im going to have a gyre one one side of the tank for most of my flow, but was thinking about running a slip x slip return bulk head with an internal piece of color matching pvc and drilling it to create a counter flow.
Thoughts?

No reason at all to laugh. Variations of that used to be very common and often provided the majority if not all of the flow in some reef tanks. I think it has fell out of favor as powerheads have become much better at providing random current and gives you a lot of flexibility in moving them, etc.

Well im running the maxspect 350 gyre for flow control. I just was looking for something different.
