I bought a scoly and it is going to get here Friday, and I have a few questions, as this is my dream Coral and pretty expensive for me. First of all, I have a large shadowed area in my tank, which is on the bottom. Should I put it there or put it halfway in there or put it out on the Sandbed. Also, what ranges are best for it, and which ones will it not tolerate. I will test Tommorow and let you know the results. Also, will and fish bug it or any inverts. Finally, how long are it's sweeper tentacles if it has any. Here is a pic of the tank:
In the bottom left there is a blasto wells, in the right is a zoa garden. I got more Zoas in there. Also, I have a Branching GSP to the right. I was planning to put the Coral in the cave thats in the middle of it needs to be in the shade. I also have a toadstool in there and either a birdsnest, pocillopora, or a stylophora, but pretty sure it a birdsnest. Also don't have that much algae, as this is an old picture. Cave is about 6x6-8x8 sphere. Don't have anything that disturbs the sand a lot.
