Quick measurement it looks like 7 inches from the wall to the tank and about 3 1/2 inches from the wall to the first part of the overflow. If you don't mind me asking how far did.you set your tank from the wall? I'm wondering if I'll be good at 4 inches

So you could slide it back 3.5 inches if you wanted to?Quick measurement it looks like 7 inches from the wall to the tank and about 3 1/2 inches from the wall to the first part of the overflow.
Beautiful tank. Where did you find the acrylic extensionsHi, I have the 100ext and the minimum distance to wall is 5.5 inches to 6 inches to allow installing and dismantling the return pipes once the tank is in place. Also you can install the Fiji cube ARF20 roller filter in the filter sock area in the RFS39, only need to order some extension acrylic pieces to extend the height of the roller filter. Alternatively you could run the klir4 until IM released the roller filter they are designing for the RFS sumps.
As for equipment space, I took out the side door on the right and installed a controller board. Someone else cut the shelf board that came with the stand and made a shelf to put equipment inside.

I designed them myself. Posted the dimensions on my tank thread.Beautiful tank. Where did you find the acrylic extensions
Maybe another 1.5 inches before the plumbing for the return lines would be touching the wall because they stick out a little further than the overflow. I wanted to leave some space to work if I need to take anything apart. I can't speak for the stock plumbing though. So you could slide it back 3.5 inches if you wanted to?
That’s a great idea. Love to see the setup when you get to it.I had an idea today of ordering 1 of those slide out control panels red sea makes and mount it to the wall beside my tank on the adjacent wall and whwn I slide it in it would be essentially hidden. Then leave the door off the stand on that side which would also allow.access inside the cabinet.
