Starting to think I have a problem lol, the stuff to reseal the presses hasn’t even arrived yet and I had to drive 3 hours after a night shift to pickup this fb marketplace gem!

Should help get some rock seasoned for the Red Sea anyways, though debating setting it up beings as I’m on the 3rd floor/top apt in my building and this is my room after four days of crazy mes and assembling of the deal I couldn’t pass up!!

Jk but honestly the goal is when I purchase a home(hopefully 2-5 years at most) to have one large display and hopefully have some nice colonies and established rock to keep it all going!

Make no doubts about it the aquarium will be the first piece of furniture

Years ago I rented an upstairs apartment in a house and had a bottom crack on a 55g freshwater and drain into the apartment below me. Fortunately my sister lived there and she didn't tell the landlord even after the second tank broke lol. I later figured out the stand was warped

And since I already have some traction on this thread,

The new tank was set up I believe Tuesday I had it filled and running,

I tested a few nitrates a few times and had anywhere from 0-2.5 I actually just had the zero reading and threw a little nitrate in there,

Nitrites and ammonia are zero on api today, and phosphates are still high around .5

Should I wait for phosphates to drop, or would it be safe to throw a little phosguard in there and offer up one of my zoa rocks as a sacrifice to see how she goes, I’ve already thrown a mushroom in which is doing fine other than the flows a bit high so he’s just floating around.

Also I did throw in a smaller piece of live rock and used 20ish gallons from my running systems.
