I've had the end cap or holder or whatever you want to call it melt twice now on my t5's killing 2 expenses ati bulbs and ruining my shield. Even one that i replaced with a better quality piece (or so i thought) melted.

What are the best ends i can get for my t5's? That won't t melt.

Just in case someone asks i have t5 fulham workhorse ballasts.

I don't know what brand your using but I have 2 sets of waterproof endcaps for sale if your interested. I have used them for may years with no melting plastic issues.

Sounds like your ballasts are not sized correctly. If you are melting the socket you are close to having a fire. Why not invest in safety and just buy a commercially made light fixture?

Because it would be a $1200 investment. Or i can get something slightly better than the worst end caps made and be golden.

If they weren't poorly made they wouldn't melt. The ballast are the correct size for the bulbs I'm running.

What exactly are they? Have a link you can share? I will need 24 of them altogether.

I'll have to check but I only have 2 sets or 8 total.
