red sea max s 400 T5 replacement bulbs

so I'm running my T5's on my red sea max s 400 for ( embarrassed to say how long)
and i never replaced them but I started adding some corals lately and want to replace the bulbs
where can i get them, and or can i use a different t5 bulb that fits to the cover that is compatible and efficient

BRS has many different options. You will need the higher output type or ones designed for reef tank lighting.

They have bulbs of every size and color. Check out some of the BRS videos on color combinations to help with selection.

T5 bulbs are universal if your fixture is labeled as T5.

okay thanks i guess i just need to know the length im also wondering if anyone here ever replaced them with non red sea brand bulbs and had success

To be honest I didn't know Red Sea sold T5's. But yes, the bulbs sold by BRS and others are very good and will serve you well. I have T5's on my tank and love them.
