I have had good look with mod to higher flow and mod lighting. If detritus or algae is allowed to build up the coral will stay closed. In my experience this coral does not like to be moved, but judging by your image I would say it's time to try new placement.
As always issues with water chemistry need to be ruled out first.

What type of lighting? What are you water parameters? Its an easy coral to care for, but they still hate high phosphate levels.

AS long as you see Ammonia, I'd perform a water change.
