why was this thread title edited to something that makes no sense?and they removed tony's really cool lawn mower picture.i miss tony.
I now see all tony's threads and posts have been deleted so i'm guessing r2r staff gave him a time out and changed the thread title.

We didn't delete anything except for one rude comment by another member.
Tony did edit some of his posts though.

That is correct, I was going to stop this posting and kept my (I-O method) to myself... Reef2Reef had nothing to do with this, just some misunderstanding. I had a change of heart so here we are again.

@TonyNguyen does the new title I-O method mean Input - Output method?

That is correct, Input- Output

Here is a example of what I had to deal with and this is not a small GHA problem this was out of control.

This is my Bonsai Coral it was suffocated by the GHA and there was no way to grow. The GHA was fighting for real estate, picture was taken January of this year.

Now this picture is from today 6-19-18. The coral finally have a chance to encrust and grow out. This is why I think my Method is the key to keeping GHA out of your system for good.

Sorry, I deleted my first post and almost all of the other along that line...lol

Anyhow I believed that because this is the only tank that I started with 100% dried rock, and they had to leaked out. I can't pin point any other reason, I always did the same method of setup. I make my own rodi water and salt mix and I'm extra cautious of what goes in my tank. But these rocks was acid soak, and neutralize. I even went a extra 3 months soak in bleach and vinegar. Then a fresh water soak and hitting them up with pressure wash. Still not fool proof, so that and my bad habbits of over feeding and nature just takes it course.
Quite a few people have come to the same conclusion as you from what I've read.
