No, but thanks. Honestly, I only use Coral Essentials Amino. Not really looking to do any additives, but the reviews I had from a few friends for the CE made me really want to try it. The results were obvious, so I am sticking with it.

Everyone should have a Midas Blenny. I can easily say in my return to reefing Skyler is the greatest surprise. He makes our reef awesome.
Love mine as well. Such characters.

I mentioned before, our Bubble Tip Anemone seemed to lose his bubbles as soon as he started hosting the Spotcinctus Clownfish.

Before

After

It is possible it is not simply the Clownfish, but the result of additional food. The Clownfish has been stuffing food in the anemone and it has grown noticeably. No other changes have occurred with lighting or flow in this time period.

@Crabs Mcjones any change in yours? You mentioned to me around the time this started (late January) that the parent was also losing its bubbles (some kind of quantum entanglement, maybe?).

Unrelated, I did get a decent shot of the anemone’s mouth today

Such a beautiful creature.

Speaking of beautiful, the Geometric Pygmy Hawk has been coming out quite a bit more

There will probably be a centerpiece Trachyphyllia or Cynarina to the right of that spot on the ground level some day. Could do that and a Euphyllia in the spot you highlight though, hmmmm....

Right now I am taking a pause. I will be moving in the next 2-4 months, so going to let the tank mature for a bit.

I actually think I love him more with stringy tentacles. I do not think anyone really knows why they do one or the other. Different things seem to trigger it, or nothing at all. Weirdos indeed.

If mine ever moves he will get a new name too. I think the Clownfish makes him happy.

Thanks! I do not highlight the bubble algae. It is everywhere right now. Still, prettier than a lot of other algaes. I could almost explain it away to muggles.

Ha, "muggles"! I got a good laugh out of that. Reef tanks do seem like magic to most people. You're a Reefer, Caveman!
