Check out the algae on the rock, if I was a mithrax / emerald I would sit there! ;)

Yep. Bubble Algae is all over. Probably should add another Emerald. Like many, I have mixed feelings on crabs. Getting a little hair algae in two spots as well. Been feeding a little more lately, so not surprised. Algae is always there. I am learning to live with it. Never a reason to panic.

Our Shimmer and Shine SPS got knocked over again. It has grown the least from our first SPS pack, but had great polyp extension. Dumb snails, do you not know you are supposed to flee the scene of the crime?

Yellow Arrow - original spot
Red Arrow - knocked over

Show off! You even have nicer looking algae than me lol
Tank is awesome so many beautiful things happening that a little algae takes nothing away from the whole

I did a massive cleaning today. Cleaned out the chambers, vacuumed the bare bottom, blew off the rocks, cleaned the skimmer, return nozzles also, changed carbon and did a 10% water change. I glued three snail removed frags back as well and realized I am out of super glue gel. Nooooooo! Had just enough luckily.

Everyone was pretty unhappy in the tank, especially the anemone who completely retracted into the rock

When I vacuumed and blew off the rocks I added a filter sock in one overflow and a filter pad in the other atop the media basket. I vacuumed right into the filter sock. Yummy

Normally I run with no socks or pads.

The anemone is starting to come back out. When he retracted deep into the rock, I realized there is a fat sponge growing behind him

The anemone came back out before I left for work. Lights were out before I left, so I thought perhaps I could get some interesting night shots. The pictures are not great, but I still found them worthy of sharing

And what is this? A Turbo snail immediately goes back to the newly affixed Shimmer and Shine SPS frag. Do these snails love super glue gel? Come on, fella, I’m out of glue!

@Victoria M here is a video of spot feeding the Acanthastrea. Did pretty well holding the phone and spot feeding with one hand, LOL.

A couple of FTS from today. Everything looks so clean in the tank after giving it some love this weekend.

Well, the glass still needs a hard razor scraping, but the rocks and floor are much cleaner.
