This is the worst Valonia I have had. The Emerald is working on it though and I am confident the tank will adapt. It has to almost everything else. I am not superstitious, but I am knocking.

I started feeding my Duncan’s. I am hoping to encouraged some growth. I have been “sprinkling” frozen brine shrimp over the hammer too.

Sorry this took so long. I wanted to get a decent video feeding the Acanthastrea, but our second attempt this week was not so hot. Nevertheless, we fed all the LPS today with frozen Mysis and shot some usable video. I did drop in some shots of the Acans closed up after eating as well.

Very cool. Nice feeding response from the Duncan. The red one is the acan? I think I saw feeding tentacles right?

Yes. Feeding tentacles are pretty short compared to many other LPS. They can be aggressive, but only at short range.
