I never posted my end of January FTS. A lot of changes the past few days, so probably for the better. Here it is

Yesterday I toppled the right side over yet again during maintenance and finally decided to redo the whole right aquascape. I know, if you look from here you barely see the difference.

Here is the right side close up

And now overexposed with the shadows highlighted. You can see there is a large cave now under the anemone rock, but the whole structure is actually much sturdier. The flow through here should be much better as well.

I know. Looks pretty much the same. The big changes are mostly out of sight, but I feel much better about it.

Picasso, the new Geometric Pygmy is doing very well. He even poked out briefly to eat (LRS always gets a response from everybody). No pictures as he is mostly still in the rocks. I have found him though each day and sleeping each night when I look hard.

Last note, Bubble Algae is finally receding more than it is growing. The little Emerald Crab must be working hard at night. Have not seen him again, but I see the results of him eating.

Does he have a favorite spot yet?

He started in Ruby’s old spot in the cave on the left, but immediately moved into the new cave on the right after I redid the aquascape. He gets a ton of cover in the new spot.

Another perspective.

Nice! What is funny is the Midas Blenny, and the other fish to some degree, always meet and greet new additions. They have completely ignored Picasso. Probably because he does not swim out in the open.

So beautiful!

That's what mine always did! He was a bit of a stalker. And once he starts seeing you as the food monster, he'll hop over like a little puppy begging for food.
