That't not a "birth" but rather an asterina starfish. Some consider them a nuisance as some can munch on zoas. Sometimes they also arrive in plague-like proportions, having hundreds of them is not unusual. They stay this small.

Also important to know that if you actually have no2 present, it will throw your no3 tests all out of whack, giving you an inaccurate, useless number. Id double check those nitrite numbers. Should be 0, if not, make that your main concern.
