what color was it before. algae will cover dead corals pretty quick so if it was like blue or something before its probably dead. if it was green or something may be alive.

This is a picture from a week ago, do you know what these stringy figure is? Maybe that is what caused it? Maybe it is some sort of pest?Some times its a tough call bc algae can just look like acro color but i would say since you noticed a dramatic color change, no polyp extension, and there is some bleaching near the bottom and surrounding branches Id say dead or almost
however, keep your head up, all your other corals sound to be doing well. Id take water chem measurements and see if anything is off. Id also leave the acro in there for a little bit just to make sure it cant recover
