Instead of buying the Koralia's i bought a Nanostream, though some people are having trouble with them. Bought it at the Fishsupply.

I will post my review once i receive the pump.

Post your experience with these pumps.

Thanks

Doesnt that defeat the whole purpose of the 2 year warranty?

If i have no problems with start up or anything like that i might try it in a few months but i want to see if it works first. :D Everyone seems to be 50/50 on these pumps so i will see. :)

Oh yeah, Why wont it spin correctly?

I have the same problem with mine to. On start up it sometimes goes backwards but it does change the sand real quick:rolleyes: Other than that I love the flow it gives off. I have not tried the Koralias yet so can not compare.

If you don't mod yours, they shouldn't have a problem with start-up. The problems related to start-ups, at least the ones I've heard are related to the modded ones.

i've never modded any of mine, and they've always had start up problems. most of the time they correct themselves......but every now and then it will just run backwards until i stick my hand in front of it.

i LOVE the design, but they gota do some better quality control and get some better quality parts for them....i'm on my 3rd pair now

If it starts backwards just unplug it and plug it back in, repeat if necessary. These things arent meant to start and stop a bunch. Get them going and leave them. I havent had any problems with my 6045 and I plan on picking up a 6025 as soon as they are in stock locally.

Also if it starts backwards just place your hand over the outlet and it will reverse right then.
