I want to euro brace my 100 gallon tank. Need advise

I have a 100 gallon tank with a center brace and would like to convert it to a euro brace. The tank has a 5' length. Can anyone tell me how thick and how wide the glass should be for the euro bracing?

I'd go with 1/2" (12mm) thick glass @ 4" wide
