I'm having a 200gallon 72x24 tank resealed and want to put it on a steel stand. I have a place here that sells 2" 14 gauge tubing with a red oxide coating for about $150 for all the steel I need. Question is, is 14 gauge plenty thick? is 2" tubing thick enough or should I go to 3" for the top brace?

Depends on how many braces or legs you put in it but it should be plenty strong.

I would do braces front and back every 24"...so it would be two. I plan on getting it wrapped with removable paneling so access shouldnt be an issue

Plenty strong you won’t have any issues…

I think it’s just slightly overbuilt lol
