Check out the "members tank" section for lots of ideas and some very cool tanks.

Hello reef2reef forum, I want to create a reef tank for the first time. I’m looking for a 90 gallon cub - reef ready. Any suggestions?
Welcome, in life the most successful people are the ones that do their homework first, before venturing out to be successful.

Welcome to the great money consumer! Pro tips: the saltwater and reef hobby in general can be pretty expensive. It can also be complicated, but easy at the same time. I would absolutely recommend checking out some threads on reef2reef. There are a lot of things you have to get down to have a successful tank. I would read the articles down below:

Keep in mind that you're gonna need to do even more reading and research than just these. Try to find all the information you can on what you want to do. There is a lot of variety and things that are really cool from the ocean that we can keep as hobbyists. I really hope this helps. I have had to learn the hard way in the past when I didn't know what I was doing. Ask all the experts on these forums for questions. They will be a huge help. And also Google. Don't forget Google. :D

Welcome!

I too am new, so not going to give advice, other than to repeat the biggest thing I have learnt to date from the awesome ppl here. PATIENCE!

After weeks of research I ordered my 90 gallon cube setup (actually 36x24x24) from SCAquariums (www.scaquariums.com) 8 days ago. It should have arrived this week, but sadly I am already learning to be patient as the stand is out of stock, and it will be another 2-3 weeks before it arrives. :(

Anyway, there are a lot of good reviews on SCA tanks. They are reef ready and they are competitively priced so worth a look. The web site is crappy but don’t let that put you off. There is a Facebook group too that has lots of good info on the tanks.
