Has anyone had them stay fully bubbled in the long term? In ~30 years, I've only have them string out and get massive and take over the tank, so I don't keep them anymore.

Fully bubbled like 24/7? Nope

But I ran my 180g for about 8 years with an RBTA that took over my tank and they often bubbled up every day. Low flow, high flow(like right on a gyre), low light, mainly high light

And yup, there's a nem parked on top of a gyre. Screen mesh worked well. If you zoom in you'll see it has bubbles.

Flow is
3 xf250 gyres.

Top right side is full 100% 24/7 going across right to left.
Top back left pulses 24/7 30% to 60% I think. It runs 24/7
Back left vertical alternates forward to backward 4 times a day based on the tidal cycles influenced by the moon.

And for those that like blues
