Icecap 1k be 3k 30 breeder acro frag/prop tank

I kinda want to over-do flow in this frag/prop tank that is plumbed into my display.

Is the 3k way too overkill? Thinking two (one on each end). Also considering the maxspect 230.

2 1K’s will be MORE than enough flow for a 30 breeder.

I have one on a 25 lagoon and have it on 10-30% and I’m still blowing sand all over my tank. Super powerful.
Thanks for the input. Now that I think about it the 230 is a better bet for me. Once I add on the additional pump the price won’t be much more than two 1k pumps.

I’d be interested in the anti-sync abilities of the two gyres but I don’t think you can go wrong with the 230
