Icecap 2k set up

I just got an icecap 2k and followed the set up instructions.

Controller is connected to wifi and have icecap 2k added.

There appears to be no options to operate it except for pushing off, min, max and when I do that I just get an error overload message.

Does anyone know how to get it to work after set up?

Have tried YouTube and contacted the company and have yet to get a response.

Yeah the tutorial shows options that didn't come up in my installation. There's supposed to be a list that pops up after connecting the controller to wifi but it never showed up so I just tried adding the icecap 2k. It added it but won't allow me to turn it on for some reason.

Wish the company was more responsive.

I certainlydon'tmind trouble shooting but without support There's not much else I can do.

I'll give it a day or so and probably return the product if I can't figure it out myself.

Any advise from personal experience with this product would be greatly appreciated.

What are you seeing when you open the Hydros app?

Unfortunate the set up videos show a page that you pick a pump from to complete set up. That page never showed up for me so I just tried adding the pump which worked but there's no way to turn it on

Can you get a screenshot of the setup page?

Yeah, I've watched the video. It's certainly a possibility I'm missing or overlooking something.

Everything looks right there. I wonder if you're having the same issue I did with the last one I bought. The hole in the end of the flow director where the white stick of the propeller goes was too tight. Take one side off and see if it will run. If it doesn't try the other side. They replaced it for me and the pump runs fine.

Okay, I'll give that a try. I actually removed one side and capped it since I'm running this in a nano tank. I also use the included perpelar sleeve that came with it. Maybe that is preventing it from starting for some reason.

Make sure you are hitting the yellow bar at bottom and save changes

How long does it usually take for coralvue hydros to respond?

I sent them a message about 5pm yesterday and no response yet.

Ok, just wanted to make sure.

If it's not a tight fit on the cage I would open a ticket with CoralVue. They're good about getting you up and running. they're able to look at your account in the cloud to see if there's a setting that's not right and instruct you on how to fix it.

No its over the perpelar. Is the sleeve supposed to go over the outside cage?

I didn't think it would stretch that much. That could be the issue.

Yes, the sleeve goes on the outside of the cage.
