icecap ballast warranty code question

How do you tell how old an icecap 660 ballast is. What number should I be looking at?

I havent looked at one in awhile but Im thinking they have a date stamped on them.

On the bottom there is a sticker that looks like this. The date code is the 120804 on the top ballast. So the date is 12/08/04. :)

Excellent! Thanks for the info. I'm getting ready to sell a T5 setup and would just rather post the info up front.

* what threw me off was my date began with june so it started with a zero.
