I'm setting up a new Red Sea S-1000, its an upgrade from my old tank a Peninsula 650.
I'm wanting to reuse the iceCap 4k gyres, they are rated for 5/8" glass on the box.
My question is, Has any one tried using them on 3/4" glass?
Could I buy bigger stronger dry-side magnets?

I too will be interested to see if anyone has input on the question. I run the 2k gyre and have 12mm thick glass. When I point the direction of flow in opposite directions. The pump tends to wanna spin and rotate a little bit. Been able to work around it so far but it impeded my initial plans for setup and positioning. The pump is stuck decently in place but could benefit from a slightly larger dry side magnet.
Good luck and hopefully they stick without issue. Or can find some suitable magnets to use in place of the stock.

Stupid iPhone typo, is here any way to edit the title to "Thick" instead of hick
